How Lutherans Read the Bible — A Three-Part Series

Dr. Pastor Carl Hansen leads an hour of learning on Lutheran biblical interpretation. Come to one or all three. Bibles available at the table near the office.

School Supply Drive for The Action Center

We're collecting backpacks, notebooks, folders, pens, markers, crayons, scissors, and Clorox wipes. Cash or checks welcome too (mark "School Supplies") — or give through Vanco under the Outreach tab. The first 60 donors get a numbered, handmade Green Bag by LCM's own Sherry, Barb & Jackie. Drop items at the back of the worship area by July 19.

Mile Long Table — Colorado Day

A free community meal for 5,280 Coloradans at the National Western Center, celebrating Colorado's 150th. Pulled BBQ chicken, BBQ jackfruit, potato salad, sweet corn succotash, and cornbread. Not a fundraiser — just conversation, connection, and celebration. LCM has 10 free tickets; sign up at the Welcome Center. Questions? Talk to Joan J.

Social Events Ministry — Downtown Denver Walking Tour

A guided 1.7-mile history tour from the Capitol to Union Station (about 2–2.5 hours). Space for 12 — sign up at the Welcome Center and bring friends. Talk to Holly or Hope for details.

Brunch & Book — Braving the Truth by Rachel Held Evans

Samaritan's Brunch & Book discusses Rachel Held Evans's final collection — on welcoming LGBTQ+ folks, culture wars, faith, and more. Focus is on parts 2, 4 & 6 if you're short on time. Books available from Kathy B ($20) at the back of the worship area, or find it at the library.
